Thanks for the info Terry. Actually, I should have updated my initial 1/4/00 posting. Yesterday, 1/5/00, I called IBM Support and they found the exact fix you mentioned. However, since we are on OS/400 4.1 the PTF was SF54758. The PTF you mentioned was for 3.2, but both PTFs referred to the same APAR, SA77919. I applied the PTF last night, but still had some workstations going into RCY today. Though the volume of problems seems to have gone way down. Although we varied our T/R comm lines off and on as instructed by the PTF cover letter, maybe an IPL would guarantee the fix is put in affect. Oh well, only one more day until the weekend where we do a power off/on via the power schedular anyway. Thanks for your response. It's very much appreciated.
