One more element is that the twinax controller on the AS400 has to be a new one that supports TCP/IP over twinax. Jerry PS. IMHO this is a dead end. Who would ever pay to support TCP/IP over twinax. Cat 5 is not that big of a deal and it give you the leg up for the LAN that will be part of every office environment. Who could justify the high cost of these Express cards when ethernet is soooo cheap? A few cards could justify new wiring easily.
