Well the AS/400 is fine, but my 91 Sonoma Pickup became possessed around 2:30pm PST on 1/1/2000. I was driving down the road listening to the radio when it cutout. I waited a few seconds thinking it must be the station. It didn't come back so I started pushing buttons, tried to go from FM to AM, change stations, pushed the on/off button and all it did was display the correct clock time. Great the darn thing has died... Then I noticed that my dome light was on but the 2 foot lights were not. I checked the door, yup it closed good, checked the dash switch for the interior lights and it was set correctly. I turned on the dome light with the dash switch and it went off and the foot lights came on. I tried this several times and was the same every time. Now I notice the radio's clock is at 1:00 and all the station presets are gone. Yup every time I cycle the dome lights it removes power from the radio and it resets. Over the day or so I have compiled a list of Y2K NON COMPLIANT actions by my truck... #1 Turning on the interior lights on turns on the foot lights(dome light does not go on) and resets the radio. #2 Closing the door(not opening it) causes the radio to be reset #3 Trying to honk the horn causes a buzz from the steering column and the DOME light goes on while horn is pressed.
