Not a bad idea. If nothing goes wring I'll be able to email you tomorrow,
however if it "all turns to custard" (a phrase I've come to hate as it's
been used a million times in the office regarding Y2K) I may not be able to
keep you posted. 

That is, assuming that civilization continues to function in something
approaching it's cureent form <g>

Rudi - I'm in Auckland, have taken all my back-ups, disconnected my 4
AS/400's from the network, and have them idling away seeing what will happen.

We did some date rolling and system testing so I'm also kinda confident the
platform will be ok.

I have no particular desire to comment on the application readiness ;)

Wellington huh.. I bet you guys are in for some exciting times government
departments being the sticklers they are for getting things done....

Anyways,

I'm happy to post what happens here... most likely nothing ;)
