Hi all,

I know that this is way off the point on this list but you have helped me
plenty of times before and I hope that someone out there can help me again. As
an AS/400 programmer I have recently started to dabble in Some Visual Basic
Programming ( only to Automate the process of getting files to our AS/400) but
anyway I wrote a VB program which opens a number of files on a timer event and
then writes and reads records to the files and does some general manipulation
of the files. My problem is that the program works perfectly if I step through
it but if I just run it normally it doesn't work correctly. It opens the files
alright but it doesn't write the records in right and doesn't do what it does
when I step through it. It's probably something stupid that I am not doing but
I haven't got a clue... Could anyone help me Please????

TIA

Keith
