Peoples We are moving a Nixdorf printer (trailer sized, very fast laser printer - about 250 pages a minute) from twinax to tcp/ip on a client's AS/400. Currently this printer is emulating a Type 5225 / Model 1 on the twinax printer definition. We are trying to get it to print properly via a remote outq. Does anyone have any experience configuring a remote outq to generate the right printer output? The spool files are processed by a Barr Systems Print Spooler (a pc with a network card into which the printer is attached) before going to the printer. We are currently using a vanilla ASCII Workstation Customisation table and the TSPRWPR program to allow page range selection. This is producing some weird ascii characters.
