Concatenate the 5 variables in the correct order creating one long variable. I generally call this MSGDTA. Upon retrieving a message you retrieve all the variables into one large string and the sub-string into the individual variables. Have Fun, Christopher K. I have all five getting the right data and formatted correctly. but it will not let me give it more than one variable on the msgdta line. How can I get all five variables to pass to the message?? or am I putting them in the wrong spot? I can't find any information in the manuals that will help me when there is multiple variables.
