  • Subject: Getting data off the 36 environment

I know I am stuck on this topic but the customer I am dealing with is not
familiar with how to use FTP on a S/36 machine (i.e., SSP running as a
'guest' operating system). We need to transfer a file from that environment
automatically to the AS/400 side so we can download it to NT.

I read in an archived message that one way to get the files to the OS/400
side from the "36" side is to use DDM. Do any of you know the steps
involved to do this. We need this process to be automatic so that our
process can link to these files and download the data.

Thanks so much.
