  • Subject: Display Program Messages suppression - Thanks!

Thank you Rob,

specifying DLVRY(*HOLD) on the user profile does exactly what I was looking
for. I also appreciate the input from Al and Peter, but I'm really not
concerned about resetting the delivery to *BREAK after signing on.

FYI I'm doing this only on one common user profile that is going to be used in
a Seagull/Jwalk application to be deployed over the internet. An unknown
number of internet users can start this application by clicking a link to our
Jwalk server. This triggers an automatic sign on (not displayed to the user)
that uses the common user profile and finally displays the actual AS/400
application running in a Jwalk session. Basically more than one internet user
can be connected at the same time using the same common user and that's why I
needed to suppress the multiple sign on message.

Once again this list has proved to be an outstanding source of information!

Thank you again.
