The communications is a batch process. The signed on users 5250 emulation session is an interactive process. Use wrkactjob, if the job type is "INT" it counts towards the interactive, else batch. The new 720 models have 2 CPW ratings, one for interactive workload and one for batch workload. My question is this: Is a client access telnet session (tcpip)considered batch or interactive? I tought that since it is using the 5250 data stream it was considered interactive. But someone told me that since it is using IP, it is considered batch. What is the truth?
