 Take a look at the financials of drug companies.  On average they have a
40%+ profit margin.  That's net - after all the R & D!!  This is way above
most US companies and can't be accounted for by inflation.  It's greed and
because they seemingly can get away with it.

 I encourage companies to make money, but you picked a bad one as an example.
