Look at the AS/400 ICF Programming Version 3 Document Number SC41-3442-00 Program Number 5763-SS1 for program QY2FTML. This can be used to send to or receive from another AS400 any file member. It is faster than SNADS and provides you with a return code that you can process. Hey IBM wrote the program for us! Christopher K. TIA, Lance I figure the WRKDSTQ display would allow you to see the percentage sent, but if what you are trying to do is automate transfer of objets, what I did was write a message handling program and then sent all my Network files to one user. The message handling program monitored for the file arrived message (sorry I'm light on the details I'm at home) and then pulled the network file details out of the message, and after some processing restored the objects. I never bothered monitoring how much had been sent because once I had the process automated, it didn't really matter to me 'cause I wasn't waiting. There are some other ways to do this stuff like using the SAVRST command, or you could make the simple method I used more complex, but I guess it depends on your needs.
