If you WRKDSTQ and look at your distribution queue, when you drill down to the
individual entries you will see % complete. Don't
believe it(especially if you use anynet). It is a relatively close
approximation. There has been a nagging problem with anynet
that shows an entry at 99% but never finishes. Many PTFs have fixed and broken
this. Don't know how to retrieve this info
programmatically.

I suppose you could DSPDSTLOG to a spool file and process - must be an API
somewhere. The distribution LOG is just a journal
receiver. If you find an API please let me know.

I am using SndNetF to send files between two /400s. It works fine but is a
bit slow. I would like to be able to check the progress of the transfer, but
I don't know how. Is there some command I could use that would tell me how
many records have been sent or what the % complete is? All I can do now is
run RcvNetF every once in a while until the files show up. TIA, Lance
