A little background info please.

Are you moving the file from the NT to the 400 or vice versa?
Who is initiating the FTP session, the NT or the 400?
These questions can be answered with one of 4 responses.
1)  The 400 is doing a get from the NT.
2)  The 400 is doing a put to the NT.
3)  The NT is doing a get from the 400.
4)  The NT is doing a put to the 400.

Once I know this then I may be of more assistance.  I'll probably ask you 
another question or two.
