SNDNETSPLF to MONTHEND USER. That copies the spool files to a new user. By using a user profile such as monthend, you can have an outq associated with the user profile. Once the send it complete, you may delete the originals. Be warned though, you will lose the job information, for the new copies will have the job info of QPRTJOB and the month end jobs will disappear from the system. Works for us. We create a new outq for each month end and change the monthend user profile to that outq prior to the sndnetsplf command. You must also have both user profiles in the system directory. Our system operator runs month end jobs and leaves the spooled files on the system till the next month end but doesn't like scrolling through hundreds of saved spooled files when she issues a WRKSPLF. Moving the files to one outq is not an option as she has a multitude of printers to work with.
