Keith, I'm a little confused about your environment. Are you using the S/36 operating system (SSP) on the Advanced 436 or are you using OS/400? The last time I touched a S/36 (a *really* long time ago) it did not have FTP support. But if you are running OS/400 with the System/36 environment then you have FTP. If you have OS/400 with FTP support you can automate the transfers from the NT to the AS/400 with our FTP Manager product (http://www.patownsend.com/FTPManager.htm). Or you can write your own interface to FTP using CL and some scripting files.
