Seriously, the job log is THE place to look for answers to your problems.
For instance, if you are getting a "Save or restore command ended doe to
error", you can't tell WHY it failed until you see the job log.  Then you
can see the diagnostic messages that explain that there was a media error or
an authority problem, or...
