I want to play too.... Check out chapter 7 in the System API Programming V4R1 manual (SC41-5417-00). It has some getting started stuff as well as how to build your own MI compiler. My company bought a MI Func Ref. At the time V4R3 was the latest and the manual was ~ $250. We bought a V4R2 manual for ~ $35. -----Original Message----- From: James_Turnbull@kaz.com.au [mailto:James_Turnbull@kaz.com.au] Sent: Saturday, November 06, 1999 9:49 PM To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com Subject: Re: MI programmers list? Interested? I have always been interested in learning about the dark arts, MI that is. Count me in also. Do we have anyone on the list with MI experience? For that matter is there an MI compiler and how do MI objects work? A brief rundown on how MI works and interacts with the OS would be worth hearing. Anyone volunteer? *grin* James Turnbull "Simon Coulter" <shc@flybynight.com.au> on 07/11/99 09:41:11 Please respond to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com cc: (bcc: James Turnbull/Sydney/KAZ/AU) Subject: Re: MI programmers list?
