If it happens both for TCP and SNA, then most probably LAN frames are lost somewhere in transit between AS/400 and PC. Best regards Alexei Pytel Debbie Helms <DHelms@Lance.com> on 11/04/99 03:09:11 PM Please respond to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To: "'MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com'" <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> cc: Subject: I'm having a problem with users interactive jobs stopping. The interactive job can be any thing from a query to a home grown application to a program being edited. The session shows input inhibited. The user can not cancel their job with a sys/req 2. The last thing in the call stack shows QT3REQIO. IBM says this is the 400 waiting on a response from the PC. The user can't respond because their session is input inhibited. These sessions are both telnet and SNA. I am at the end of my rope. It seems to be intermittent all over the company - about 600 users. If anyone could give me some advice I would appreciate it. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
