I want to be able to write things to the status line at the bottom of the 
screen as a CL runs ('x files processed', 'now initializing tape', that kind 
of thing) and I would also like to have the last one persist.  IBM does this 
all the time, but when I try SndMsg, SndUsrMsg, or SndPgmMsg from inside the 
cl, the 'message waiting' light and the user has to wait until the cl is over 
and then DspMsg.  How is this done?
