Beginning with V4R1, Telnet sessions will respect the QINACTITV system value, so depending on which value is smaller (QINACTITV or INACTTIMO) will decide the actual timeout. The INACTTIMO will close the session, so you might want to go with QINACTITV instead. The INACTTIMO parameter of CHGTELNA is obsolete and ignored beginning with V4R4. You might need Work Management PTF's for QINACTITV support (V4R1-SF47141, V4R2-SF45391). -- J.S.
