  • Subject: ##EMailNumber 01-WNY-2259281 Domino Server Question
  • From: jmoreno@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Subjec Title: 2 AS400s, LS:DO, and No connection

I have two AS400s, one (named PROD at V4R2M0) is a production machine and
Domino is not
installed on it and the other AS400, a Bumble Bee (named WEBSERV at
V4R4M0), is dedicated to Domino R5.

The task is to retrieve data that resides in a table on the PROD machine
and return it on a browser.

To make this happen, a LS:DO (Notes agent) will make a connection from the
WEBSERV machine to the PROD machine.

Once this agent is ran, the results are NULL and in the Log.nsf the errors
captured are: ?Error 720? and ?Communication error occurred during
distributed
database processing?.

I have created the Relational Database entries for both PROD as the remote
and WEBSERV as local on the WEBSERV machine.

Both machines can ping each other with successful responses.

Can anyone tell me what I can do to make the connection successful upon
executing the agent?

 Thanks For Your Answers
