Booth, I'm glad to hear that you do not carry the burden of supporting anything less than current technology. I'm jealous <g> BTW, drop down windows and choice programs for the older workstation controllers is documented in Redbook GG24-3438 (March 1990) "Writing SAA Applications for AS/400" and even the newer (V3) menu keywords are, IMHO, awkward at best. Personally, I believe that the future is in browser interface and could care less about enhancements to the 5250 data stream. If you want to talk about the future, why bring 5250 enhancements into the conversation? I would really like to see the HTTP server moved over to the workstation controller so that thin clients and PC's have the same "look and feel". Not to mention offloading CPU cycles to a dedicated processor. The TN5250e is a good bridge. But it's just a bridge, not the road. BTW, I have to ask: has anyone, besides me, been working on a display DDS to HTML/Javascript conversion utility?
