2001 is for HTTP admin at V4R4 (&maybe before) Alex A. Moore ~ CIO Ellis Hosiery Mills, Inc. alexm@ellishosiery.com <mailto:alexm@ellishosiery.com> I'm curious why your are trying to use port 2001. Normally HTTP is port 80. My guess would be that the AS/400 is not enabling port 2001 for anything. You might want to try just port 80 and see what happens. http://mysystemname/AS400HTML I am trying to create and serve a sample home page on my AS/400 S10 for > my intranet users. I have created a directory call AS400HTML and loaded > a sample home page. When I enter the URL> http//mysystemname:2001/AS400HTML > I get the ERROR 403 - forbidden by rule message. +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
