I worked on a dumb terminal earlier this week. It didn't have a mouse but there was a mouse port and when I asked the client about it he said yes it supported a mouse. Then the topic switched to something else so I can't add more information. This is the sort of thing that makes me keep asking about enhancing the green screen. I think that we have gotten so caught up in tradition and trivia that we've not exploited new hardware and software that would simplify green screen applications and make user training a lot simpler. -----Original Message----- From: Jim Langston [mailto:jlangston@conexfreight.com] Sent: Tuesday, October 26, 1999 2:14 PM To: boothm@goddard.edu Subject: Re: What can be done to enhance the green screen applications? Unfortunately, the only way I have figured out how to attack a mouse to a dumb terminal is with Velcro.
