Rick, Thanks for speaking out on this! It's been a peeve of mine as well. However, it's a double-edged sword; if everyone obeys the list guidelines, we might only get the digest two or three times per week, since the digest gets sent once the digest reaches a set byte-size (40k?). Choose your poison, less timely digests with more concise replies, or more timely digests with all the junk you despise. For me, a tough choice. Maybe if we could get the digest to be sent every hour or two, regardless of size (unless empty like in the wee hours)?
