Jeff,
We've got 2 3570's in our computer room. Along with 8 400's and a plethora of
other gear. (Other 400's at outlying locations). Only 1 CISC box left.
However
that is a measly E04 and I doubt that it would be able to handle anything to
hook
to a 3570. If you can figure out how to test it, maybe we can 'borrow' a cable
from one of our RISC machines and hook it up to our CISC box.

Subject: IBM 3570 Split Config on CISC

Is anyone using an IBM 3570 tape subsystem on a CISC AS/400 in a split
config? I have interest in doing so, but my IBM CE is not _sure_ that it
will work on a CISC.

Split config requires a 2nd SCSI cable, which I don't want to buy if it
isn't going to work. The CE is trying, unsuccessfully so far, to round one
up so we can try it.

Thanks.

-Jeff
