The old TAATOOLS MSGCTL/Pager program in News/400 had an ICF file string of 50
characters, I need to send a longer one now, because I have to go through
a people friendly automated system! Increasing the String sent seems to
not work, in the sense it appear to halt after a certain amount of
characters about 41 to 42, should I send 2 40's instead???? I am able to
monitor the phone call as it is being made so I can hear when it stops,
this is the string I send........
      ATDT5557243,,,,,,,,,5555556011#,,,,,1,1,114000220#,,,,,1,,,,1. ( The
phone number have been change to protect the guilty! ) I made changes to
send e-mail to my phone's email and that is working just fine, but one
never wants to trust that as the only resource. TCPIP might not be up or
the mail server might be down, hence the phone call if necessary.

What kind of changes do I make to the ADDICFDEVE and CRTICFF command to get
      this to work????

TIA

Arlene Soderlund

TIA for any help you can offer.
