I pass it in as a parameter to the program.  On an NT pc you Right Click 
on network neighborhood, select properties, and it is the name of your PC.

One of the PC's we are running the RUNRMTCMD on is running NT.  When
starting a 
command under NT you should go into Control Panel-Services and have Client
Access 
Remote Command started.  Remember, when you run RUNRMTCMD against the PC you
should 
get a spool file, QPRINT, that echos the batch file executed on the PC.
Here is a sample from our shop:

Been awhile since I've used STRPCO.  I use RUNRMTCMD most of the time now.
With RUNRMTCMD the command does not have to be initiated from the PC that
you
want to run on.  In our case we poll a shop floor PC for info.  With
RUNRMTCMD
I don't have to tell the shop floor person to press a button.  STRPCO might
be
nice if you are going to run it from an interactive session and you don't
know
which PC.

I was looking for a initiate from the AS/400 a PC command (in this case a
Client Access data transfer (.tto)) on the users PC.  Then I stumbled onto
the STRPCO command which can be used in conjunction with STRPCCMD.  It works
like a charm and doesn't involve as many steps as the CWBRXD stuff.  IBM
tells me STRPCO is old stuff and no one uses it anymore since CWBRXD and
RUNRMTCMD.  I just wanted to ask you learned folks why that would be, and
are there any drawbacks to using STRPCO?
