Multitech make the IBM Options modems so they will be compatible! But
what do you mean by "AS/400 compatible"? If you're looking for a
synchronous modem that supports V25 bis dialing then you have quite a
few choices - in fact any V.32 etc that supports bit oriented V25
commands will work. I've used ones from UDS, Black Box and others. For
async purposes you can pick up almost any modem from your local computer
store - I favor US Robotics Sportsters. You'll need to config them to
have DSR set to normal.
