Greetings from Dick's Last Resort, Uh, AKA Common San Antonio...

Greetings!

I will be eternally greatful to Searle pharmaceuticals for making
Celebrex!  Geezuz, have I walked my feet off this week!

Well, Expo closed today...Sunday it was V.busy...Monday was slacking off
and Tuesday there was traffic, but it was light...it's kinda obvious it's
light when the vendors start swapping t-shirts and trinkets on Monday
afternoon...:)

This conference has a different attitude.  It's much lower key.
Progressive, but lower key.  Lots less glitz.  Alot of new names in
presentors....old timers on the list, download the grids and take a
looksy...

I wish there were some additional hands on sessions, ie, configuring a
netfinity server; etc....  Lots of theory classes and more all day topic
specific sessions, ie, Charlie's fullday'er on RPG...

Common has a new President:  Bob Cozzi...I forget the rest of the
positions....I heard them Monday, but I'm too tired to remember...

CUDS is going GREAT!  Andrew Borts deserved a medal for turning CUDS
around and making it a thing worth being at!  Andrew, you're probably not
going to hear it from many others, but ya done good dude!  Make sure you
pick someone good to take over for SanDiego!  Yes, this is his last
CUDs...bummer....

Soundoff was a bit subdued...a few of the usuals making very good points,
but uh Tom Jarosh had to go "catch a plane"...:)  Perhaps Al can convince
him to bring a suitcase to San Diego and having a longer Soundoff...:)
as there were several folks in line at the end that had gotten in line at
the start...so the lines didn't make a full cycle...except for Charley
Jones pulling a page from my Anaheim playbook and going to a empty line to
get a 2nd question in...:)
