  • Subject: Office 400 Merge Document

Hello Fellow AS/400 People,
I have a question about using the documents in a folder in Office AS/400.
When I do a work with folders, I see the folder and document that I'm
working with.
I know how to use this part. My program is issuing a mrgdoc command.
On the mrgdoc command the document must tell the AS/400 where to get the
file from to place
into the "merge from document". I was under the impression that I could
view the document and see
where the data was coming from on the AS/400. The data from the AS/400 is
put into the document and then merged into the new document.

Well, I can not find out where the data is coming from by looking at the
document. I know where the data is coming from, but not because I find it
in the document.

Please help me find the problem!!

                Thanks, Steve Hayes
