I could NOT agree more! Having made my wildly "trolling" comments, let me add this: Remember SAA? Shoot ... *I* even wrote a column once in News/3X-400 about how GOOD it was (I have an excuse: Panama Red). AD/Cycle anyone? Polymorphic User Interface? Gotta give IBM credit: They DO keep trying. And despite all their failures, the AS/400 CONTINUES to SOAR! Oh; did ANYONE see the review in InfoWeek about Net.Commerce on the AS/400?? INCREDIBLE! The "Pros" listed where many. The "Cons" list??? How about "NONE"!! Seriously. I write in VB all day long, using NT Server/MTS/SQL Server. It's fun ... but I keep asking the client "Can I interest you in an AS/400 "green-screen" solution?" ... only half joking. I was making comments that have been at one time or another, a headline in News/400... I have read or heard all the ranting about whatever the current buzz is till I'm about sick of it.. It clouds the minds of the user and the customer... +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
