I have heard of a company that is switching off their 400 on the Friday before Y2K and then switching it on again on the Saturday. For some reason they believe this will stop any Y2K problems with the machine. This seems very strange to me, as I would think most Y2K problems would relate to applications, and not AS/400 hardware or OS stuff. Anyone heard of any other companies doing a similar thing. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
