Guys,

Sorry, but I don't agree, we use an EMC Symmetrix, but it doesn't need the PC 
to run, the pc is for configuration and diagnostics and ECS. If anyone knows 
differently, I'd be interested to know though!

I don't know about you folks but we've not had alot of long term good luck
with attempting to mix and match vendor hardware on the box.  Further,
anyone's DASD that REQUIRES a PC to make it run kinda scares me...


Not, printers and terminals, that's another story....I'll hang DD printers
and terminals all day...
