Hmmmm, If you mean that the AS/400 needs to access data that resides on SQL7 then I don't think that the AS/400 can directly access that data. That is to say that the AS/400 does not have an ODBC Client. To do this we have done: Batch FTP (NOT real time), Client Access file transfers (Also NOT real time but formatting is much better) or replication products such as DataMirror's Transformation Server. Very Very close to real time but keeps a copy of the data on the AS/400. - Larry Note: We Represent DataMirror.
