Has anyone tried to connect a Monarch 9835 label printer to an AS400 using IP via a HP170x IP access device. We use Monarch printers already, but it's via a local connection on Twin-ax to an Andrew converter box and then connected either parallel or serial to the Monarch printer. We have a remote site connected over the LAN that needs to print to the Monarch printer, but we don't want to use Twin-ax via a remote controller. We already can connect their PC using a Rumba Telnet session over IP, so that's why we would like to use IP to communicate to the printer. Any experience with this type of setup.......
