I found a p/c program from the Ziff-Davis Software library
(www.zdnet.com/swlib <www.zdnet.com/swlib> ) called PrintKey 4.

PrintKey is a system tray-based freebie that lets you do a real "Print
Screen," just like in the good old DOS days. Whenever the program is active,
press the PrintScrn key (or other configured key) on your keyboard.
PrintKey's main window pops up, displaying your capture along with several
picture and printer options. Adjust brightness and contrast; adjust red,
green, and/or blue; add a frame; swap or invert colors; or convert to
grayscale or black-and-white. Decide between portrait and landscape modes,
center your capture on the page, maintain proportions, and adjust picture
size. Captures can be printed; sent to your default image editor/viewer; or
saved in .gif, .bmp, .jpg, .emf, or .wmf formats. You can print the date and
time, footer text, and user information. Along with full-screen captures,
you can capture just the active window, the client area, or any rectangular
area -- with or without the cursor. PrintKey is a fast way to get hard-copy
captures without having to use traditional screen-capture methods -- and the
price is definitely right.

It works great and does an excellent job - the only thing we have used for
the last 6 months.

        I am in the process of creating documentation for a new application.
The
        documentation is to include 5250 screen shots.  My normal Client
Access screen
        setup is having the black background and, using the clipboard to
transfer the
        image into a Word document, it looks pretty nasty.  I could fiddle
with the
        color pallette temporarily to make it a white background and change
all of the
        other foreground colors, but then I lose my original settings.

        Several years ago, I was in a shop that used Client Access on an
OS/2 PC and
        they had a shareware clipboard utility that was perfect for this, it
seemed to
        be written for these type of 5250 screen shots.  It allowed you to
set the image
        negatively, which is exactly what I need now.  It also featured some
basic
        graphics editing, such that I was able to clip the toolbar out of
the image.

        Alas, now I'm on Win95.  I downloaded several shareware utilities
last week, but
        none of them had either of the features I mentioned above.

        Is there anyone out there using something that has these features?
