I happen to hit this once. The answer then was - sorry, the only way to control
this flag is from PC side.

Best regards

Subject: Changing RO flag on IFS object?

Greetings!

I've run into a quandary with regards to IFS objects.

I've got an object in ifs space (call it '/tmp/yada.txt') that has *PUBLIC
authorities set to *RWX.

Through Windows Explorer, I set the RO flag on the object.

When I try to remove the object from the 400 I get "CPFA1C5 - Object is a
read only object.". This happens even when I am signed on with a QSECOFR
profile.

Anyone know how I can reset the RO flag on the object so it can be
manipulated from the 400?

Thanks!

david
