× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

I use

bin
quote site namefmt 1
put c:/somefile /qsys.lib/locallib.lib/savefile.savf

this causes the file to be created on the AS/400 as a savefile.
I don't have to create it first using the CRTSAVF command.
