Dean, These virtual devices are created on the fly by the S/36. I think there is a configuration procedure that defines how many of these things you can use. Maybe it's called something like CONFGICF (those S/26 memory cells are dying off...). Aslo, you might want to look at the line or controller definition to see if there are maximum devices defined somewhere...
