     Jim,

It's my understanding that QMQRY and/or QRYDFN objects can be run
on any AS400. This interface is a part of OS400 *BASE.

Check out GO CMDQM. STRQMQRY is the command to execute an QM query.

My company has a sister company with another AS/400. The AS/400
at my company has Query Manager, so I can create, modify and run
queries.

Our sister company does not have Query Manager.

Our AS/400 are tied together with QSNADS.

Here are my questions:
1. Is it possible to create a query on one AS/400 and run it on another

without query manager?
2. If it is possible, what is the best method of transporting the
*QRYDFN
file?
3. How do I run the query on the second AS/400 without Query Manager?

Regards,

Jim Langston
