  • Subject: REMOTE_USER environment variable

I am able to add, remove and display entries in my
validation list now thanks to the responses from
this list. After reading the manuals, I was under the
impression that I could get the environmental variable
REMOTE_USER and tell which user (from my
validation list) was requesting the page. It was late
last night, so maybe I made a mistake on the API
call. Can I find out the user? I searched the Ignite/400
site for REMOTE_USER but didn't get any hits. BTW,
they are using Net.Data for thier search engine now.
