> BTW, Anybody know what is the legality of downloading all the PDFs > and burning a CD of 'em all? Anybody wan't a copy???? (assuming it's > legal of course!!!) What good would it do you! You can't search across 'em! You can't even search one of them! Adobe makes a great searchable index generator as an add-on to Acrobat, but do you think IBM would use that? Noooooo.... that's too obvious! PDFs are good for one thing: making paper replicas. I'm a paper guy and do that a lot. PDFs clearly have a purpose and do a good for what they are intended to do. However, many times you need to search across many books. This is a HUGE beef I have with AS/400 documentation! You'd think IBM could do this, I'm pretty sure it can be with, oh, say, a computer! Someone in Rochester should spend a little time with Microsoft's Developer Network CD. Bet they're afraid they'll get rabies or something if they touch one! rp +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
