This won't work - you are using a TCP command ( ADDTCPHTE ) in a SNADS
situation. What you need to do for SNADS communications:

Setup the entries on both systems - WRKDIRE
Configure distribution services - CFGDSTSRV - and add a distribution queue
and a Routing table on both systems.

You also need to ensure that the line & controllers resources are setup and
varied on on both sides before you can use SNDNETF, SNDSPLF, Pasthru etc.

If both as/400s are using TCP however,it would be far simpler to use FTP to
transfer the files
as opposed to SNADS.

Regards,

Neil

I have a client that has set up a new AS/400 and is attempting to send
netfiles between boxes using snads. The sending box is on V3R7 and
the new box(web server) is on V4R4. I think that after adding a directory
entry and adding a host table entry(ADDTCPHTE) for the remote system
on the local system everything should work. I have not tried this yet. Will
this do the trick or am I missing something?
