Except that ADTS also provides, as options, Data Dictionary and Application Development Manager, but most shops don't use them. As for the include part, if you buy a machine today, there is a 'bundle' of basic tools, discounted, that includes the SQL toolkit. And from the standpoint of a model 170, if I remember correctly, the SQL toolkit comes with it. I think that as IBM adds more function to the SQL interface and promotes it as the "only" interface, then inclusion with the machine will become the norm. The problem is the existing customers that won't upgrade their software licences to include the toolkit. -- =========================================================== R.
