Tape drive problem - MLR?? AND SLR?? -- MIDRANGE-L

        Hi,

        Does anyone know MLR* and SLR4 terms relating to tape drives.

        when we initialize the QIC tape with density *QIC2GB, we are getting
an error message  " the tape should be MLR* Driver".
        SysAdmn says that he has MLR* drivers and the tape we are using is
1/4" tapes Compatible to QIC-2GBc, SLR4 Drivers.
