You're using Query/400? Then can't you define a result field to hold the current date and put that into your output file? tealem@wrq.com on 08/18/99 09:03:12 PM Please respond to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com@Internet To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com@Internet cc: Fax to: Subject: Sending output from a CL program Hi All, I need some help with a little program I have written. It currently creates an outfile which it then queries for a match between the current date and the users last logon, listing to the display (SNDPGMMSG) all users who have signed on during the day. What my intent is, is to have this program run during my nightly backup, then write to a file all the users who have signed on that particular day. Ideally, I would like to have it enter each day as a record in a database file I could query, but from what I have read it seems I can't do this? Can anyone help me out here? Thank you for any suggestions!
