Has anybody any tips on the following problem:

We support an environment that has an as/400 170 at v4r2 in a TCP/IP
Ethernet LAN with various P.C., thin clients and laser printers connected.
The problem is that the remote outques defined for the 1855 Lexmark laser
printers intermittently stop working. The only way to restart them is to
end the remote writer (endwtr outqname *immed) and then to restart it
(strrmtwtr outqname). I have changed the CHGLPDA to initially autostart 8
servers. I have noticed that the job in Qspl subsystem is in "SELW"
(select wait) when this problem occurs. The actual last program in the call
stack, of the job in Qspl, when this occurs is "4p7timeval QSYS"

Any insights of where I can look or what the problem is would be
appreciated.
