Any thoughts? You've probably noticed as you work on this problem, that you are not having quite as much fun as you usually do. You will succeed only if you are determined, unreasonably stubborn and masochistic. I generally read the code and attempt to duplicate it, step by step with ISQL until I can match the totals. Having done this, I can understand and explain what is happening, even if it is not correct. If possible, isolate and work with a small subset of the data that you know is a problem. Be aware that logic errors in the report program could be including or excluding data incorrectly. Try to sleep a little every 36 to 48 hours, and bathe occasionally or your co-workers will complain.
